5-day Guilin Yangshuo Cycling Tour beside Li River
In this 5-day biking tour, cycle all the way along the famous Li River from Guilin city to Yangshuo, by way of Daxu ancient town, Crown Cave, Xingping ancient town, and other small rural villages.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1Arrival at Guilin (Lunch)
Upon your arrival at Guilin airport or train station, your tour guide & driver will welcome you there, and transfer to your hotel in Guilin city. Then ride bikes with your guide to visit the highlight in and around Guilin – Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Yao Mountain. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin city. Fubo Hill is a well-known karst hill by the Li River; and the hilltop offers a good view of the whole city. Yao Mountain is the highest hill (903.3 meters above sea level) in Guilin, with changeable seasonal views; the hilltop is easily accessible by the 1,416 meters long cableway and you can get a wonderful view of the peaks and surrounds.
Return to your hotel in late afternoon. In the evening, enjoy your free time around Guilin Central Lakes (Shan Lake and Rong Lake) area and the nearby pedestrian street.

Day 2 Guilin/Daxu/Crown Cave (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Check out the hotel in the morning and cycle to Crown Cave, stop to visit Daxu Ancient Town on the half way. Have a relaxing walk along the well-preserved flagstone street which is lined with old residences, shops and stalls. It runs two kilometers along the river bank through the town. Then proceed with your cycling to Crown Cave and make a cave exploration there. Overnight stay at a hotel nearby.

Day 3Crown Cave/Xingping (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Check out the hotel and get off to cycle for Xingping – an ancient town with impressive karst landscape of hills and water by the Li River. Today's biking is tougher and more arduous. But this is a very good chance for you to take an adventure to a non-touristy area. You will see the picturesque scenery along the whole way. After you get to Xingping, enjoy your free time along the well-preserved old street there; then at the pier, have a rafting trip on Li River to enjoy the breathtaking karst scenery of water and mountains on both sides. Stay one night at Xingping.

Day 4Xingping/Yangshuo (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, have hotel check-out and start today’s cycling to Yangshuo. The biking trail is relatively easy. Peaceful and picturesque farmland will be seen along the way; and you will reach Yangshuo about midday. In the afternoon, biking along Yulong River for about 2 hours – a major tributary of Li River, for attractive rural scenes; if you prefer, a family visit to a local farmer’s house can be arranged. After that, enjoy your free time at the West Street in the town. Stay one night in Yangshuo.

Day 5Yangshuo/Guilin departure (Breakfast)
After breakfast, drive to Guilin airport or railway station and take a flight/train for departure. Service ends.
Good to know:
1. The sightseeing time arrangement on the 1st and 5th day would be adjusted according to your flight or train arrival and departure time.
2. The distance from Guilin to Crown Cave is around 30 km, from Crown Cave to Xingping is around 38 km, and from Xingping to Yangshuo is around 36 km.
3. The biking on Day 03 is little harder and more arduous. Some parts of the road are the dirt roads zigzag among the hills. The roads on which you are biking on Day 02 and Day 04 are flat and tar roads.

Firstly, apologize to write this enquiry in English as my Chinese input is very slow. We are a group of 8 people who are interested to join your "5-day Guilin, Xingping & Yangshuo Biking Tour" and would like to start the tour on 17 Sept(Sun), 2017 and finish on 21 Sept(Thur). We have some special requests :
1. We would arrange our accommodation on Day 1 (i.e. 17 Sept)
2. 2 couples would like to ride on tandem bikes (that means 2 tandem bikes are required)

I'm traveling along, I am young and fun, I'm wondering if There is any travel groups gooing mountain biking on wed or thursday that I could be a part of. I'm a very good mountain biker. I want to travel and see the scenery, but not by myself. I I come can I meet people there who might want to go on an adventure?
