Hello Tina,
Thank you very much for your email.
Overall, we had a lovely time on our trip. Sarina was very helpful in the planning of the trip and was always prompt in answering questions and sending detailed information. I have written some notes below that your company might find helpful.
The hotel in Guilin....Universal Hotel.... is not a good choice for families with small babies. It was very loud till all hours of the night and the crib was only suitable for a small baby who is a few months old. I realize there were a lot of festivities due to the National Holiday, but I would still advise families to choose another hotel, or be sure to get a room facing the back.
The boat trip was lovely and we found the lunch to be very good. We were advised that many people do not like it, but we thought it was very nice.
The hotel in Yungshuo was wonderful. Excellent food, lovely staff and a beautiful room.
The trip to the mountain was wonderful as well...it was my husband's favorite part of the trip.
Our driver was fantastic....safe, reliable, helpful and very friendly.
Our tour guide, Wendy, was lovely as well. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and flexible with our time. This is very important when you are traveling with a baby.
My favorite part of the trip was the tea institute. There were no tourists, the guide was great, we learned a lot of information and we got to try some delicious teas. We bought two mugs from the tea shop and unfortunately, one of them is cracked. We were very careful traveling home with them and I really do not think we broke it on the journey home. Do you think there is a way we could possibly get a replacement mug? Please let us know if there is anything we can do. It was quite expensive and my husband and I want to have it to use for many years to come as a special reminder from our trip.
I hope you find this information useful. Please let me know if you would like any additional information.
Warmest Regards and Thanks,
Elizabeth Cruz
