Dear Yuri,
We would like to thank you again for your wonderful commitment to excellence.
We were very relieved to find the driver waiting for us in Guangzhou on 7/31, even though the train was delayed for close to five hours. (Had I booked an earlier train, everything would have been proceeded smoothly.) Thank you for finding such wonderful dedicated drivers and tour guides. Mike was an absolute delight and spoke English very well. We all loved him as he was athletic enough and experienced enough to take us up Jinkeng Rice Terraces. It was amazing and beautiful. The lunch at the local restaurant was also very good. He was patient and responsible. We wished he had been our guide the next day on the Li Jiang Cruise instead of the tour we had joined.
The Li Jiang cruise was nice, but please allow me to tell you how it went. The tour guide, Chan, asked us to join the Silver Cave tour which cost an extra 150 RMB per person. We really had no choice but to follow her because there was no transportation back until she finished that tour. She told us we would return by 1800 hours. (But the tour we originally signed up for was for us to spend only an hour on West Street and return by the afternoon.) Well, we really did not have much time to see anything on West Street because the walk to KFC where we met the tour guide took about an hour. After meeting at KFC on West Street (?) she drove us to Silver Cave where we practically ran through the cave just to make it back to the bus on time to leave. We wound up returning about 2140 hours. So we did not have any dinner since we had to rush for the 4 lakes evening boat tour at 2230 hours. I did not expect that we would have to take an additional attraction to an already full day. So I just wanted to let you know that the this particular group tour is not advisable for those who need to return to Guilin in the afternoon. Could have been just the particular tour guide though.
Again, thank you for arranging the wonderful drivers for the pick ups in Chengdu, Xian and Guangzhou. They were all very professional as compared to some other drivers we experienced while in China. And Mike was exceptional as a tour guide.
Thank you especially for your dedication on the night of the earthquake in Guiyang. You are a definite asset to the travel industry and I am so glad that we had chosen your services for our stay in China. I would highly recommend your services to others and hope that our paths may meet again in the future.
With our best regards,
Lorraine Ow & family
