6-Day Guilin Zhangjiajie Tour
In this 6-day trip, you'll explore the natural beauty of Guilin Karst landform. Then, you'll have a chance to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, with protected forests, marvelous peaks, limestone caves and waterfalls.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1Arrival at Guilin (B, L)
Arrive at Guilin, be met and transferred to your hotel, then city tours to the Reed Flute Cave.

Day 2Guilin to Yangshuo (B, L)
Transfer to Zhujiang Pier in the morning. Take a cruise on the Li River and enjoy lunch on board. Arrive at the small town Yangshuo this afternoon. Check in your hotel and free afternoon for your own exploration (perhaps strolling or shopping for some souvenirs along the West Street).

Day 3Yangshuo / Guilin / Zhangjiajie (B, L)
Your guide will rent bikes (city bike or mountain bike) for you. Ride a bicycle to visit the countryside of Yangshuo. Then have a bamboo rafting tour on Yulong River. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, drive back to Guilin Train Station to head for Liuzhou, then change the train to Zhangjiajie at Liuzhou Train Station.

Day 4Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Arrival in Zhangjiajie, be met and transfer to hotel. Rest at leisure.
Day 5Zhangjiajie (B, L)
Drive to visit Zhangjiajie National Park, take a cable car up to Huangshizhai (Yellow Stone Fort), then proceed to visit Suoxiyu Nature Reserve, hike along Golden Whip Stream. Stay at Wulingyuan overnight.

Day 6Zhangjiajie departure (B, L)
Visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. Then transfer to the airport or train station to head for departure.

We are very glad to be of service to you. Guilin and Zhangjiajie are both famous tourist destinations in China.
Please kindly note that there is no direct bus operating between Guilin and Zhangjiajie now. The best way to go to Zhangjiajie from Guilin is to take a bullet train from Guilin to Liuzhou, and then transfer to an overnight train with sleeping berth to Zhangjiajie at Liuzhou Railway Station. Within the same railway station, it will be not difficult to change the train in Liuzhou.
Guilin - Liuzhou
There are 27 bullet trains between Guilin and Liuzhou every day. It takes just one hour, and cost RMB 45 yuan for second-class seat.
Liuzhou - Zhangjiajie
There are 2 daily trains from Liuzhou to Zhangjiajie, It takes about 11.5 hours, and cost RMB 152/163 yuan for Hard Sleeper. Both of them leaving for Zhanajiajie from Liuzhou are overnight trains, so you can sleep on the train and when you wake up, you will arrive in Zhangjiajie.
