If you want to explore some history sites of Guilin after its nature wonders discovery, Chongshan Mosque is one of ideal places in the downtown. As a large-scale and well-preserved temple, the mosque has a long history for around 300 years. Chongshan Mosque was first built in late Yongzheng Emperor in Qing Dynasty (1735). The building was designed with the combination style of Chinese and Islamic culture. Government has a high regard to it and list it as one of the most important relics.
