Accommodations while Biking in Guilin

There is a mixture of accommodation when we cycle together in Guilin. All are in good standard hotels/guesthouses; you will leave in twin share with private bathrooms, hot water, air-conditioning etc. 

Travelling by bike takes us to the less developed rural areas of China. This means that choice of accommodation is limited. Whilst not having all the facilities that you may be accustomed to at home, these small lodges make up for that in location, views, atmosphere and friendly service.

If we end the day and stay in more developed and commercialized area, like in a hot spring hotel in Longsheng, the accommodation condition will be much better. It is to reward you after the tough riding through mountain areas. You have free access to the hot springs and swimming pools. 

Hygiene is very important to us all so accommodation is chosen with a good level of cleanliness. All the sleeping arrangements are for twin share and if you are a single traveler you will be paired up with someone of the same sex. If this is not available, you will need to book a single supplement. 

Although we have tried best to arrange the accommodations, the annoying mosquitoes in summer, humid beddings in raining and cold seasons/mountain areas, or similar questions will puzzled us sometimes. 

If you are willing to have a bicycle travel to Guilin/Yangshuo on your own, there are many cheap guesthouses, motels around the areas/towns where there the universities locate (University of Technolagy of Guilin, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Normal University of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, etc, the rooms are also available for their campuses in Yanshan town) .
